Q&A in「MOLDMATIC」

Failure/Defect/Troubleshooting

I would like to know who to contact in the event of a breakdown or malfunction.

As a general rule, our products are provided with individual specifications for each machine tool/industrial machine manufacturer, so please contact the manufacturer of the industrial machine that Moldmatic is attached to or your purchaser.

What information should I provide when contacting you?

The production number is attached on the side of Moldmatic with a sticker or plate.

After confirming the “MFG No.” specified here, the customer’s company name, address, contact information, name of the person in charge, Moldmatic model name and SpcNo (specified in the specifications), Please contact the place of purchase or here with the specific details of the problem (alarm type if any) and installation location .

Is it possible to request repair of Moldmatic?

Although it is possible, there are things that cannot be handled depending on the number of years of operation and the situation.

Please contact us through the place of purchase, or contact us here if you have any questions .

When contacting us, please let us know the “MFG No.” as above.

Where can I find troubleshooting information?

Please refer to the “Instruction Manual” attached to the product for each series of Moldmatic for troubles that may occur during daily use and how to deal with them.

If you have any questions, please contact us.

The pressure loss is large and the liquid does not flow. How should I deal with it?

Either match the pipe diameter of the Moldmatic “outlet” or (if the distance is more than 5m) increase the diameter by one size.

In addition, we recommend that you avoid using the shutoff type “coupler” as much as possible because the pressure loss is large.

When the Moldmatic is stopped, water overflows from the overflow port in the cooling tank. How should I deal with this?

This occurs when the “piping” that connects Moldmatic and the mold is raised close to the ceiling. In this case, install a check valve at the Moldmatic outlet and a solenoid valve at the inlet to prevent water from returning.

If you have any questions, please contact us.

Purchasing and specification selection

I would like to purchase Moldmatic, where can I purchase it?

Please feel free to contact us .

What kind of information should I provide when selecting a Moldmatic model?

Please contact us from here .

We will propose an appropriate Moldmatic model based on the conditions you provide. Please feel free to contact us for special specifications.

maintenance

Where do you need regular cleaning?

For KMA*-R/RH models, we recommend cleaning the air filter once a week.

In the case of KMA* type and KMO*-CH type, it is recommended to clean the filter installed at the water return port from the mold and the cooling water inlet once a week. I’m here. This filter protects the pump motor, control valve, solenoid valve, etc. mounted on the Moldmatic. For details, refer to “General Precautions” in the catalog and the instruction manual.

The catalog can be viewed from Catalog Download .

Does Moldmatic require inspection based on the Freon Emissions Control Law?

Is required.

Moldmatic and other products manufactured by our company are designated as Class 1 Specified Products based on the Fluorocarbons Emissions Control Law, so it is stipulated that a “simple inspection” should be carried out.

*Of the “Type 1 specified products”, “equipment over a certain scale” is obligated to undergo “regular inspection” by engineers handling refrigerant fluorocarbons. “Equipment above a certain scale” refers to equipment with a rated output of 7.5kw or more for the motor used in the compressor of the equipment. Some of our products are applicable to special models, so please contact us if you have any questions.

Simple inspection method and frequency

Please check according to the “instruction manual” attached to Moldmatic.

Examples of basic inspection items include:

  • Presence or absence of dirt on the condenser (for air-cooled type)
  • Presence of hot air from the exhaust port (for air-cooled type)
  • Check the quality of water supplied to the condenser (for water-cooled type)
  • Abnormal sound

is required to be conducted at least “four times a year (every quarter)”.

* Inspections must be recorded (the date of the simple inspection, whether or not there is an abnormality, and who inspected it) and must be stored (until the product such as MOLDMATIC is disposed of) (storage in electronic media). is also possible).

*The records of simple inspections do not need to be submitted or reported, provided that they are promptly disclosed upon request from the prefectural governor of the place of installation.

For details, please see the special page ” Company’s Efforts for Fluorocarbon Emission Control Law “.

What should I pay attention to when installing Moldmatic?

When disposing of a Moldmatic with a refrigerator, please contact the place of purchase or entrust the collection of fluorocarbons to a prefecturally registered class 1 fluorocarbon recovery company. If you intentionally release fluorocarbons, which are used as refrigerants in specific products, you will be punished by imprisonment with work for not more than one year or a fine of not more than 500,000 yen because it falls under the legally prohibited release of fluorocarbons. .
